When you can't pronounce the name of a medication, it doesn't exactly inspire confidence in your patients, colleagues, or audience.

Hi, I'm Kim Newlove, RPh

Pharmacist, author, podcast host, audiobook narrator, and voice actor specializing in medical narration.

Saying drug names can be hard. They are not normal words, and sounding them out doesn't always work. I've seen firsthand how people from all walks of life struggle with them.

There's a lot of conflicting information on the internet, too. Many people compare two or more pronunciations from YouTube and guess which one is right.

There's a better way.

I break drug names down into syllables, tell you which syllables to emphasize, share my sources, and provide written pronunciations.  Use my best practices. Feel more confident saying drug names and less frustrated learning them.

Over the years, I have become a drug pronunciation expert. As a pharmacist since 2001, saying drug names correctly has always been important to me. It helps me relate to patients and other healthcare professionals and earn their trust.  When I joined the voiceover industry in 2017, saying drug names correctly became important for another reason. Paying clients expect me to say drug names correctly so their audience trusts their message.

I help my online course students, consulting clients, podcast audience, and colleagues say drug names. I can help you too.
